Origin & Production

The organic Greek Lavender used to make this oil is grown in the village of Nea Tenedos, located in the region of Macedonia in Northern Greece. This small village is located at the base of the Kassandra Peninsula, close to the shores of the Aegean Sea. 

The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowering tops of the lavender plants at the Vessel Distillery in the village of Thermi, located only 20 kilometres from where the lavender plants are grown. 

Aroma  

A perfect balance between linalool and linalyl acetate and a very low levels of 1,8-cineole and camphor result in a truly unique aroma - delightfully sweet, floral, fresh and sparkling, with a fruity hint and no harsh camphoraceous or eucalyptus-like undertones.
